LYCRODILIAN Species~ Original

-This isn't a very good explanation because the first time I wrote it, it all got deleted. So here's a really butcherd version.


This is an original species, and I don't care if you don't think it is, I sat down with no refferences and no animals in mind. I don't care if you think it's "just a mash up of abunch of different animals" because what the hell is a Liger, then? A liger is a new species, even if it is just a Tiger and a Lion. The Lycrodilian is a new species created by me.

Singular: Lycrodilian (lie crow dily ann)
Plural: lycrodilia (lie crow dily uh)

First off, imagine this species as any other anthromorphic species, like a wolf for example: they can be fat, muscled, skinny, with any hair, any color, any markings, and be mixed with any other animal (however if you do that to a Lycrodilia it is not called a Lycrodilian anymore, but a variation there of, but that's up to you.) they can wear anything, do anything, be anything. ANYTHING.
The main reason for posting this is because I will want to see y'alls interpretations of a Lycrodilia for your own OC. Remember, make them unique. I will explain the species in the following paragraphs.




He're just a real quick basic breakdown because I really don't feel like rewriting all the detail I did the first time I wrote this.. >.>

Lycrodilia's skin is NOT scaley nor furry (unless mixed with such an animal, remember they could also be mixed with like a dragon for wings, or a wolf, a hooved creature, or even a fish, that's up to you. But please don't go too crazy with it lol). Their skin is similar to human skin; fleshy. However their skin is more durable. (it can still be cut by slower moving slashes, however cannot be pierced by fast moving direct shots like bullets or spears; the weapon cannot get past their skin and muscle).

Lycrodilia have horns/spines primarily on their faces and the end of their tail, however they can have them anywhere in any fashion, that's up to you.
They have fur that acts more like hair, staying mostly to their head, back of neck and down their spine and tail.
They have bone growths under the skin from their shoulders, elbows, and wrists. But the bone can sometimes poke out through the skin. (note that wrist growths do not impede their quadrepedal walk in any way).

They are digitgrade and have extremely long arms and double jointed fingers so as to be able to walk on all fours (imagine a human quadsuiter using arm stilts, well these guys don't need them). They can walk both bipedal and quadrepedal.

Anatomy is very similar to humans, although the muscle structure is slightly different.

Additional details:
They have retractable claws, slitted pupils, long dragon-like ears, slitted nostrils.
(unfortunately I do not have a refference for female lycrodilians yet. But I will be doing a standard lycrodilian front/back for both genders)

Coloration:
They can be any color combo, but are usually fairly brightly colored.
They can have stripes or spots (anything) hell, their markings can even glow in the dark, I don't care, it's your character. They also do not have a typical "top fur"/"under fur" style either (but they can).
Horns are usually warm colored or greyscale, however they can be whatever color you want.




Please go for it, create your own Lycrodilian original character, I really want to see them. And hell, there might be something in it for whoever's OC I really like Do whatever the hell you want to it, it's your character, just remember, the lycrodilian species is MINE, don't try to be going around saying it's yours. Remember to tell people who created them.
